Okay, our Tuesday Back Jam Jerk Out samples The Champ by The Mohawks which is sampled in more songs than we can count. We find that odd because The Champ itself contains a sample of Tramp by Otis Redding and Carla Thomas which was our first posted They Sampled Thursday, sometimes it's difficult for us to know if a song is sampling Tramp or The Champ?

Other songs that sampled The Mohawks's The Champ or Otis Redding and/or Carla Thomas's Tramp:

Okay, I saw the J. Moss post at the beginning of the week as the Sunday Soul. Then I saw Jerk Out as the Back Jam and thought "Why not make 777-9311 the Back Jam since J. Moss Dance samples 777-9311".

Now I see this and it makes sense, they are all related to Morris Day and The Time. Good post SIMY.

Good job Tony, not many people even remember 777-9311 as being by The Time.

What? There is a method to our madness? Who knew?

So The Champ has a sample of The Tramp which is a cover of Lowell Fulson's The Tramp. The world is a circle.

After looking at the posts this week and their connection I thought that the Sunday Sould could have been Livin' by The Clark Sisters?

There are a lot of Gospel songs that would have fit into this week. We thought of The Clark Sisters as well but we had already posted Live: One Last Time as a Sunday Soul a while back.

I didn't know who Lowell Fulson was but I Googled him and now I think I know what the Saturday Soundtrack will be. I wasn't sure but then I saw that Anthony Hamilton's latest has posted.
